Amongst the blog 'whataroyalidea' I found a French illustrator/photographer/film maker and graphic designer called Jean-Paul Goude. Looking at his work on his web site I find his work amazing! Unfortunately the website is in French although right click and you can view in enlgish :). Take a look at his work, it might inspire you, (I also like the web design).
